Emotional Attachment to Chatbots is a plague. We need to stop it before it gets worse.

How rotten has society become that a personâs last emotional stronghold is an AI Chatbot? And this is not coming from a place of superiority. Everyone has their emotional ups and downs. Historically, humans have dealt with them by isolating themselves, or openly discussing their problems with someone they trusted. The latter doesnât exist anymore.
Either you hand over all your stability to a multi-billion dollar AI Company, or you let any left proximity with other human beings, perish for good.
Both are equally terrifying prospects for the human psyche.
This is not meant to be a long rant. But an outcry. If you see someone, who is being all friendly with this chatbot, itâs best to offer them some kind of talking outlet. Donât become an emotional dildo, since thatâs not good for you, and neither what people in help are looking for. Theyâre looking for someone who relates. The best you as a person can do, is to support them.
You can never change someone. You shouldnât try to. You shouldnât give advice. Most advice is simply virtue signaling, and humans instinctively know, and start to ignore all advice.
Do your best not to judge, or at least, not show any judgement (we all judge to some degree).
