Solum — Private, Local AI ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and safeguarded when you use our iOS application.

• •Prompts, responses, and conversation titles you create, stored only on your device
• •Images you choose to attach, copied into Solum's private on-device storage
• •Downloaded model files and model download status
• •App preferences, including generation and memory-safety settings
• •Purchase entitlement status for Solum Premium

• •To run AI inference directly on your iPhone
• •To save and reopen your local conversation history
• •To provide image understanding with supported multimodal models
• •To manage downloaded models and your selected settings
• •To unlock Premium features after an App Store purchase

Prompts, responses, conversation history, attachments, settings, and downloaded model files are stored locally inside Solum's private app container. None of this data is transmitted to or collected by the developer. AI inference runs on your iPhone. Solum does not operate an inference server, account system, analytics service, or cloud database.

We do NOT:

• •Send prompts, responses, or attachments to an inference server
• •Store your conversations on our servers
• •Use your content to train external AI models
• •Sell or share your personal information
• •Use your activity for advertising or analytics
• •Collect payment card details

Solum runs supported language and vision models locally on your iPhone. The content used for a response stays within the app's private storage and device memory.

• •Prompts and responses are not sent to Solum or an external inference provider
• •Attached images are processed locally by supported models
• •Conversation history remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
• •Memory Safe Mode can reduce the risk of iOS terminating large model sessions

Model files are downloaded from public repositories hosted by Hugging Face only when you choose to install a model.

• •Downloaded model files are stored locally on your device
• •You can remove downloaded models from Solum at any time
• •Hugging Face may receive standard network information, such as your IP address, when serving a download
• •Model downloads are subject to Hugging Face's privacy policy and the applicable model license

Solum uses Apple's system photo picker so you can select individual images without giving the app unrestricted access to your photo library.

• •Only images you explicitly select are made available to Solum
• •Selected images are copied into the app's private local storage
• •Attachments are never uploaded to Solum or an inference server
• •Deleting a conversation also deletes its locally stored attachments

Solum Premium is a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase that unlocks all supported models and settings.

• •Apple processes the payment and provides Solum with entitlement status
• •We never receive or store your payment card information
• •You can restore the purchase through Solum on another eligible device using the same Apple Account
• •Purchases are subject to Apple's privacy and payment policies

The app uses the following services:

• •Apple StoreKit for purchasing and restoring Solum Premium
• •Hugging Face for downloading public model files you choose to install
• •Apple Photos picker for selecting images without granting broad photo-library access

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

You have the right to:

• •Access all your data within the app
• •Delete all your data from the app
• •Revoke notification permissions

Solum — Private, Local AI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising or social features. Purchases are processed by Apple and remain subject to App Store family purchase controls.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
